Pool 8 Ball

To play Pool 8-Ball, click the start button on the game’s main screen to begin. Choose your game mode—single-player against the computer or multiplayer if available. The game starts with a break shot, where you hit the cue ball to scatter the racked balls. On a computer, move the mouse to aim the cue stick, click and drag to adjust shot power, and release to shoot. On a mobile device, swipe to aim, pull back on the screen to set power, and release to take the shot. After the break, you’re assigned solids (1-7) or stripes (9-15) based on the first ball you pocket. Pocket all your assigned balls by hitting the cue ball into them, ensuring the cue ball contacts your ball first to avoid a foul. Once your balls are cleared, pocket the black 8-ball to win, but sinking it prematurely or scratching (pocketing the cue ball) results in a foul, giving your opponent ball-in-hand. Use the cue ball spin option (if available) by clicking the cue ball icon to add English for strategic positioning. Avoid fouls like missing your balls, hitting the opponent’s balls first, or failing to hit a rail after contact, as these give your opponent control.
